Inconsistency in Export/Import database

Hi everybody.

We recently generate two new environments in our SAP landscape, Development and QAS, using the export/import procedure. We decided not to stop the production system and we did the export in on-line. The explanation of this procedure tells that it is possible to do it but maybe it can appear inconsistencies in the target system, so it's only allowed for time mesurement or development systems.

We have do it in this way and now the BSEG table have less rows in development and QAS than in productive system. We imagine that this table were blocked during the export for a running job and it was not fully copied. The problem is that now the development team has no confidence in the system and it's frightened because they don't know if another tables, specially customizing tables, are bad copied and if they transport these tables to production system they can break them in production.

Is it possible?. Based on this assumption they ask us to redo both systems from the scratch. Can we trust in development system or must we erase it and do it again from a new cold export from production?.

Thanks in advance for your answers.
